I owe my passion for drawing to my grandad, Roy and my Nana Elsie. I remember as a child, spending countless hours scribbling in notebooks with my Grandad. He was particularly fond of drawing Horses , and I think it is this that has influenced my love of drawing animals. My nan was my biggest fan, she could have opened a gallery with the pieces she collected from me over the years.

I am mostly self taught, working from my home studio in Skelmersdale, North west. I have enjoyed experimenting with many different mediums over the years, and it was coloured pencils that I have fallen in love with the most.

Pencils allow me to create many different textures and details, that I hope capture each animals personality.

I am was very lucky to have come first in a couple of Local exhibitions, and I am hoping to enter my work into some larger scale exhibitions in the near future.
